Furniture 101 at The Empty Nester Studio Franklin MA Friday 6/26/26

Join me on Friday June 26 11 am to 2 pm

for this informative hands on workshop.

Bring a small piece of furniture (something that you can carry up a small set of stairs). We will not do major repairs, so please be sure your piece is in good shape. If you are unsure, please feel free to text or email a photo for my review. 

During the first half of the workshop you will learn how to clean, prepare and paint your first coat. 

Break will be about 15 min. I will have some waters and soft drinks on hand, as well as coffee and some snacks. Feel free to bring a snack for yourself or to share.

During the second half of the workshop, we will paint our 2nd coat and do the finishing touches. If time allows I will also give a tutorial on lining drawers. 

By the end of the workshop your piece will most likely be dry to the touch but not cured, therefore I suggest leaving it at my studio for a few days. If you want to take it immediately you are welcome to, but remember that if it is not cured it is easy to get a ding or scratch. 

Each workshop is $98.00.

Included in the class are all the products you need to clean, prepare and paint your piece start to finish. If you would like to line your drawers there will be a slight additional charge for the liner. 

Products will be available to purchase during the event. You will be offered a 20% discount on products during the workshop only. This includes Melange One Paint products and Iron Orchid Designs Products.

You will go home with a printout of all the steps you learn in this workshop.
